Therapy For LGBTQ+ in Santa Rosa, CA & Online Across California
Helping LGBTQ+ Adults & Teens Be Who They Are Without Apology
You're Struggling and You're Also Navigating the World as a Queer Person
Maybe you're dealing with anxiety, depression, or relationship issues like anyone else. But you're also navigating a world that doesn't always make space for who you are. Maybe you're questioning your sexual orientation or gender identity. Or you're out but dealing with family rejection or workplace discrimination. Perhaps you're just tired of code-switching and performing to stay safe.
Or maybe your challenges have nothing to do with being queer but you want a therapist who actually gets what it's like to be LGBTQ+. You want someone you don't have to explain yourself to or worry about being judged by.
It's hard finding support when you need someone who understands both your struggles and your identity.
You Might Be Experiencing
● You're dealing with anxiety, depression, or just overwhelm that's making life hard
● You're questioning your sexual orientation or gender identity
● You're struggling with whether or when to come out
● Your family or community doesn't accept who you are
● You feel like you have to hide or perform to stay safe
● You're navigating relationship issues or life transitions as a queer person
You want therapy with someone who gets what it's like to be LGBTQ+. Whether your struggles are directly related to being queer or not, you deserve support from someone who sees and accepts all of who you are.
Therapy Can Help You Feel Better and Live More Authentically
It's possible to build a life that feels true to you. Imagine what it would be like to:
● Feel less overwhelmed and more grounded in your daily life
● Stop hiding or performing and start showing up as yourself
● Navigate coming out or family dynamics with more clarity and confidence
● Build relationships that feel authentic and supportive
● Feel more at ease with who you are instead of constantly questioning yourself
● Actually enjoy your life instead of just surviving it
Therapy can help you get there. Together we'll work on what matters most to you whether that's mental health struggles, identity exploration, or both.
Get Support from Someone Who Gets It
Maybe you're struggling with anxiety or depression or relationship issues or maybe you're navigating identity questions, coming out, or family rejection. Or maybe it's both. Whatever might be true for you, in therapy we'll work on what you need and I'll walk with you towards feeling better.
As someone who's queer myself I know what it's like to navigate a world that didn't make space for me. I know what it's like to suppress parts of yourself just to stay safe. And I know what it's like to finally find your way to living more authentically. You don't have to explain or justify who you are in our sessions. You can just be yourself.
We'll also work on the practical challenges you're facing. Maybe that's managing anxiety or getting unstuck from depression. Or it could be dealing with a family who doesn't accept you or figuring out how to build relationships that feel authentic. Let’s find ways for you to create a life that actually fits who you are.
Over time you'll start to feel better. You'll feel more grounded, more confident, and more able to show up as yourself in the world.
How LGBTQ+ Therapy Works
Therapy sessions are 50 minutes and we'll work at a pace that feels right for you. Here's how we'll work together:
1. We'll create a space where you can be yourself. You don't have to explain or justify who you are. You can show up authentically without fear of judgment.
2. We'll figure out what you're struggling with. Maybe that's anxiety or depression or relationship issues. Maybe it's exploring your identity or deciding whether to come out.
3. We'll focus on what you need to feel better. Maybe that's managing overwhelming emotions or building confidence in who you are or finding ways to feel less isolated.
4. You'll try new ways of being. Instead of staying stuck in old patterns or hiding or people-pleasing you'll experiment with approaches that help you feel more authentic and alive.
5. You'll start to feel better. Over time you'll feel more grounded, more confident, and more able to build a life that actually works for you.
