How Anxiety Therapy Works

Therapy sessions are 50 minutes and we'll work at a pace that feels right for you. Here's how we'll work together:

1. We'll create a safe space. You don't have to pretend you're fine or hold it all together in our sessions. You can actually talk about what's really going on.

2. We'll figure out what's driving your anxiety. We'll explore what's underneath it so you can start to shift it instead of just managing.

3. We'll focus on what you need to feel calmer. Maybe that's learning to quiet your racing thoughts or releasing tension in your body or figuring out what situations trigger your anxiety and why.

4. You'll try new ways of responding. Instead of avoiding or white-knuckling through anxiety you'll experiment with different approaches to see what actually helps you feel better.

5. You'll start to feel more settled. Over time anxiety won't have the same grip on you. You'll feel calmer, more present, and more able to enjoy your life.
